What is Open Space?

 

Open Space is a simple method to run productive meetings in any kind of organization, in every day practice and ongoing change. It enables self-organizing groups of five to 2000 people to deal with hugely complex issues in a very short period of time.

ما هو المجال المفتوح ؟

 

المجال المفتوح هو طريقه بسيطه لإدارة إجتماعات مؤترة لمختلف الأنشطة في اي نوع من المؤسسات . تتيح تقنية المجال المفتوح   للمجموعات  من 5 أشخاص الي 2000 شخص التعامل مع المشاكل المعقدة جداً  في فترة قصيرة .

How ?

 

The Open Space event begins with all participants gathering in an open circle. The facilitators briefly introduce the theme and guidelines of the Open Space process. Then they invite the participants to identify their passions, needs and interests - all the issues and concerns they want to explore in the Open Space.

Participants then choose those issues which, individually, are of most interest and importance. These topics become the focal point for all the subsequent break-out sessions, dialogue and action planning.

كيف ؟

 

يبدأ اجتماع المجال المفتوح بجلوس المشاركين في دائرة. الموجهه "المسئول عن ادارة المجال المفتوح" يعرض بأختصار الموضوع المطروح للمناقشة و يشرح ما هو المجال المفتوح ثم يدعوا جميع المشاركين لطرح افكارهم وموضوعاتهم ومشاكلهم للمناقشة من خلال اجتماعات مصغرة.

يقوم المشاركون بعرض مواضعيهم و أختيار أكثر المواضيع أهمية لمناقشتها في حوار مفتوح للجميع.

When?

 

Whenever individuals, an organization or a community are faced with:

  • An uncertain future

  • A complex problem that does not have an obvious solution

  • A deadline of yesterday, i.e. an urgent need for rapid decision-making and organization-wide buy-in.

  • High levels of diversity with potential or actual conflict

  • An opportunity that requires the skill, ability and commitment of everyone within the system

  • A need for creative thinking, innovation and collaboration

  • A desire for improved communication, shared learning and high play

 

Open Space Technology will not work, and therefore shouldn’t be used, in any situation where the answer is already known.

متي ؟

 

اذا كنت شخص او مؤسسة او مجتمع و تواجه:

  • مستقبل غير واضح

  • مشكلة معقدة لم يتم التوصل  فيها الي حل واضح

  • أعمال متأخرة تحتاج لحل سريع

  • مستويات عالية من النزاع و التعارض

  • فرصة تتطلب جميع المهارات و الخبرات الموجوده داخل مؤسستك

  • الجاحة لخلق نوع من التفكير و الابداع

  • الرغبة في رفع مستوي التواصل

 

لن تنجح تقنية المجال المفتوح في حالة ان الاجابة معروفة بالفعل .
